Who is Claire?
Claire is a coach and yoga & meditation teacher based in Melbourne, Australia. Years ago, she became burned out and started her own journey of getting clear with her boundaries and learning to prioritize herself! She uses her own experiences to support women from all over the world in setting and maintaining boundaries in each area of their life.
What are Boundaries?
Clarie describes boundaries as guidelines or limits for our own behavior. She made it clear that boundaries are not saying no to other people, but instead saying yes to ourselves! They also help us determine who we are and what we will allow in our lives.
Boundaries help up maintain our standards.

How to Implement Boundaries in Different Areas of Your Life
Implementing boundaries doesn’t need to become a huge thing that gets blown out of proportion. It can be something as simple as “ouch..that hurts” when someone makes an offensive comment.
A big piece of advice that Claire gave was to express yourself using “I” statements. Express how you feel and how you felt hurt without attacking what the other person said or did. Keep the focus on you and what hurt you specifically. Your feelings are valid.
What if someone ignores the boundaries that you’ve made clear? There’s a difference between someone forgetting and someone blatantly not caring about the boundaries that you’ve set. Then you would determine how you should respond and the consequences you should enforce.
